Eureka Stamps Challenge #107

It's Monday and time for a new challenge at the Eureka Stamps blog.

This week's challenge, #107, is "Vintage or Distressed".  Here's the card I created for this week's reveal.

I used a QKR image this week ~ and you can find it right here.

I printed the digi stamp out on tan cardstock so it would have more of a vintage feel.  I used lots of distress ink on the outside edges of the image.  I tucked the little "time to remember" index card underneath the stamp and added the two pocket watches.  I tied bows to the top of the watches with twine.

Here's a close-up of the digital stamp.

I love this paper by Echo Park because it already had the distressing on it.

Here's a close-up of the pocket watch at the bottom of the card.

Here's a close-up of the smaller pocket watch and the little index card.

If you'd like to play along, you can link up right over on the Eureka blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

QKR/Eureka Blog Hop

Welcome to the QKR /Eureka Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from the talented Emily's blog, then you are in the right place.  In case you get lost along the way, the complete line-up is listed at the bottom of my post.

Our theme for the Blog Hop is "Anything Goes" and you have two weeks to join in this challenge.  The only requirement is that you use either an image from QKR or Eureka Stamps for this challenge.  If you comment on each blog along the way, you'll be eligible to win 2 more images.

I created my very first Christmas card of the year for the Blog Hop.  This isn't necessarily a Christmas digi stamp, but I thought the wording was perfect for a Christmas card.

I used Pink Paislee "City Sidewalks" patterned paper and embellishments.  I printed the digi stamp out on cream colored cardstock to better match the patterned paper.  Since I matted the stamp in black, I tied black twine through the holes in the embellishments.

Here's a close-up photograph.

I attached all of the embellishments with pop dots for added dimension.  Here's one more close-up.

As an added bonus, I'm giving away this EZMount Stamp Set, "Ahhhhh...Christmas", by Dee Gruening.

All you have to do, to become eligible, is become a follower on my blog.  (I recently had to start my blog ALL over again and lost all of my followers!!  I'm trying to build it back up.)  Leave me a comment telling me that you're now a follower, and I'll enter you in a random drawing to win this stamp set.  (If you're already a follower, leave that in your comment and you'll also be entered to win.)  I'll announce my winner at the end of the Blog Hop, so be sure to check back on Monday, September 15th.

Thanks for stopping by and now, hop on over to the talented Alex's blog to see what you she has created.

Here's a complete listing of the Blog Hop, in case you get lost along the way:

Eureka Challenge #104

I'm running a little behind because I've been having computer issues again.  Ugh.  Since the week's almost over, I thought I'd better post my Eureka card for this week.

This week's theme is "CAS".   Here's the card I created.

CAS is not really easy for me, so I used some papers and embellishments that I really liked and layered it all up.  I used some of my Pink Paislee Switchboard collection for this card.

Here's a close-up of my card.

Here's one more close-up.

I don't know about you, but when my computer is "acting up" it really throws off my mojo.  I had to get my old laptop out again.  I call it "Old Black" and it doesn't have much memory left on it, but it's still reliable.  It's such a hassle because ALL of my "stuff" is on my new laptop (the one that's acting up) and I'm constantly having to download from one and upload to the other one with my flash drive.  What a pain!!

I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend.

Eureka Challenge #102

It's time for a new challenge at the Eureka Stamps blog.

This week's challenge, #102 is "Things With Wings".

Here's the card I created for this week's reveal.

I used this sweet digital stamp #15001 for my card.  I colored in all of the little hearts and used a gold Sharpie for the bird and all of the little connecting dots.

Here's a close-up.

I used lace to tie a bow and "draped" the ends out on the top and down the left side of the stamp.

Here's a close-up of the smaller bow.

If you'd like to play along, you can link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week.
