Eureka Challenge #120

If you're looking for the Sketches4All Blog Hop, click here.

Welcome to a new week and a new challenge at Eureka Stamps.

This week's challenge, #120, is "Use Glitter".  Here's the card that I created for this week's reveal.

I had so much fun with this image.  You can find this cute Santa in the QKR store right here.  Glitter is always hard to see in photographs, but I added quite a bit of it ~ actually with Stickles + some glitter.

Here's a close-up photograph of Santa.

Here's one of the cute sentiment.

If you'd like to get your glitter out and play along, you can link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Eureka Challenge #119

If you're looking for the Sketches4All Blog Hop, click here.

It's time for a new challenge at Eureka Stamps.

This week's challenge, #119, is "For The Birds".  Here's the card I created for this week's reveal.

Isn't this little birdie the cutest?  He's from QKR and you can find him right here.  The sentiment is also from QKR and you can find it right here.  I printed the sentiment out extremely small so that I could add it to the front of the card.  It would look nice printed out larger, too.

Here's a close-up.

Here's one more ~ I just love the October Afternoon flair with the bird on it.

If you'd like to play along, link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

I used a QKR Stampede image this week and you can find it right here.  I added "snowflakes" with Stickles, then sprinkled on glitter.  The four snowflakes are actually sequins and I added a pearl to the center of each one.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #116

If you're looking for the Sketches4All Blog Hop ~ click here

.

It's a new week and a new challenge at the Eureka Stamps blog.

This week's challenge, #116, is "Non Traditional Christmas Colors".  Here's the card I created for this week's reveal.

I used two different Eureka stamps this week.  You can find the cute caroling bunnies here and the Fa La La here.

The patterned paper is by Echo Park and so is the round embellishment.  I colored the bunnies to match the pink in the paper and put a brown center on the pink snowflake embellishment.  I love pink and brown and thought these colors were very non traditional for a Christmas card.

Here's a close-up picture.

If you'd like to play along, you can link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Welcome to a brand new challenge at the Eureka Stamps blog.

This week's challenge, #115, is "Give Thanks".  Here's the card I created for this week's reveal.

I used a Eureka Stamps image this week and you can find it right here.  I think the pumpkin with the vines is so cute worked in with the first letter.   I also used patterned papers and embellishments from Echo Park, I Heart Fall.

Here's a close-up of my card.

I printed the image out on textured cardstock and really like the way it looks.  Here's a close-up of the cute little squirrel.

Are you ready for some Cutting Cafe and Christmas inspiration?  This is a digital layout that I created for the Blog Hop.  I'll tell you how I did it in a minute.

This 6" x 4" "layout" is actually a photograph that will go inside the Christmas cards I send out this year.

I used Echo Park 'Tis The Season for my background and put the picture on black paper to make it really stand out.  I used several of the Cutting Cafe sentiments like journaling strips.   Here are some close-up photographs of the sentiments.

I just love the font on this sentiment and used it as a "title".

Now all I have to do is upload this to Walgreen's and have as many 4 x 6 photographs printed out as I need.  Easy peasy.

Don't forget to leave a comment and become a follower (if you're not already).  I hope to see you over in the Sketches4All Forum, too!!  Remember, there are some awesome prizes up for grabs!!

Happy Tuesday

I thought I'd catch up with some of the happenings at Sketches4All!!

I started my Christmas Card Challenge Group again last month  My new challenge is up right here and this is the card that I created for inspiration.

I hoard October Afternoon Make It Merry and still have LOTS of it left.  Almost everything on here is Make It Merry.  I added the row of white eyelet and put the gingham ribbon on top of that.  Even the buttons and the brad are OA.

Here's another photograph.

Aren't those little kids the cutest?  You know they're dreaming of what Santa is going to bring them.

My other new challenge is also up.  It's "Fall ~ Anything Goes".  Here's the card that I created for inspiration.

This card is based on a sketch by Julee Tilman.  I used Echo Park I Heart Fall collection.

Here's a close-up.

Our DT sponsored challenge is also posted.  This month's challenge is "Be Grateful It's Fall".

Here's the card I created for the reveal.

I also used Echo Park I Heart Fall collection.  This card is also based on the sketch by Julee Tilman.

Here's a close up of my card.

If you'd like to get in on some great challenges as well as enjoy a friendly atmosphere, come on over to Sketches4All!!

It's time for a new challenge at Eureka Stamps blog!

This week's challenge, #113, is "Count Your Blessings".  Here's the card I created for this week's challenge.

I used a digi stamp from Eureka Stamps this week.

The "wood" and patterned paper background are both Echo Park, I Heart Fall.  The chipboard "Giving Thanks" is Bella Blvd, A Perfect Autumn.  I tied the twine around the K and finished it off with a bow.  Both sentiments are attached with pop dots.

Here's a close-up photograph.

And one more.

If you'd like to play along and make a Thanksgiving card, or two, you can link up over on the blog.
