Eureka Stamps Challenge #83

Happy Monday!

It's time for a new challenge at the Eureka Stamps blog.

This week's challenge (#83) is "Spring Flowers".  Here's the card I created for this week's challenge

I used this adorable image (digi 13903) and printed it out on this beautiful yellow paper.  You can find this image in the store right here.  I made mine into an Easter card.  Here's a close-up picture.

I was just in the mood to do something different this week and I really like how the image printed out on this yellow patterned paper.  I cut it out and distressed it all the way around and attached it with pop dots.  Here's another close-up.

I found this sweet flowered paper in my stash and punched out two circles.  I made the little chevron and distressed all of them, then added "Easter Blessings".

I'm going to be taking a break from the Eureka design team for the month of April, but I'll be jumping back in for the May challenges.

If you'd like to play along in the "Spring Flowers" Challenge, you can link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Easter Cards

Happy Hump Day!

I've been making some Easter cards to send to Snail Mail for Seniors.

I made this first one for a challenge at Turtle Soup and it's based on a sketch by Bev Code.

This one is also for a challenge at Turtle Soup, but there was no sketch.

The rest of these cards were based on various sketches by Bev.

And last, but not least:

Well, that's about it for today.  I need to get these in the mail by the end of the month.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #82

It's Monday again and time for Eureka Stamps Challenge #82.

This week's challenge is "Anything but a Square Card".  That's easy for me because I seldom ever make square cards.  Here's what I created for this week.

I decided to go with a quotation stamp again this week.  I love this one "Long Winter Days" ~ you can find it in the store right here.

I used three different patterned papers from the same collection, but the top piece didn't photograph exactly true-to-color.  Here's a close-up of all the yummy layers:

Here's one more ~ you can see the stamp a little better.  I distressed all the way around the stamp too.

If you'd like to play along, you can link up right on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful week.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #80

Happy Monday!  I'm a little slow posting today ~ let's blame it on Daylight Savings Time.  LOL

This week's challenge at Eureka Stamps is #80 and we have an color inspiration picture.

Here's the inspiration picture.

Here's the card that I created, using all of these colors.

I actually dug through my "scrapbox" which has all of the bits and pieces that I've saved.  I found the piece of orange patterned paper and the piece with all the rest of the colors in it.  The little butterfly was in my stash too and I just happened to have these little hot pink centers.

The digital stamp I used for my card is called "Friends Are Blossoms" and you can find it right here.  It's hard to see, but I also distressed the edges of the stamp after I printed it out.

If you'd like to play along, just use the color inspiration picture and link up over at the blog.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week!

Eureka Challenge #79

It's Monday again and time for a new challenge at Eureka Stamps.

This week's challenge {#79} is "Anything Goes".  I decided to create a layout for this week's reveal and use a Eureka digital stamp on it.  Here's what I created.

I put this picture of our dog Sam on Instagram and really wanted to use it on a layout.  The digital stamp I used is called "My Goal in Life" #24805 and can be found right here.

I used a lot of layers on this layout ~ I call them "grunge layers".  They seem to be my favorite look these days.  I got the patterned paper and all of the digital "grunge" stamps from DSA (Digital Scrap Addicts).  They are designed by one of my favorite digital designers, Christine Smith.  Oh how I wish I had this talent!!

If you'd like to join us for "Anything Goes" you can link up over at the blog.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful Monday!!
