Jenessa – Guest Designer for October - http://www.jenessafranco.blogspot.com/

Here's the card I made to help inspire you!

I used the cute jar full of ghosts from The Cutting Cafe.  I wanted the lid to look like metal, so I used a metallic marker and added shadows to it.  I wound twine around it, several times, and finished it off with a bow.  I also used the cute sentiment "jar of boos" which is also from The Cutting Cafe.  I added the google eyes for an extra touch of fun.

Here's a close-up photograph of my card.  I just love these cute little ghosts.

Here's one more close-up ~ I used pop dots for added dimension.

I'm going to give away a prize here on my blog too!!  I'm going to be giving away 1 set of images from The Cutting Cafe!!  You can chose this set, or any other set of equivalent value.

All you have to do to qualify for my prize is become a follower and leave a comment.

Now it is time to hop on over to see what Giorgia has created for you.

Have fun hopping along!  I hope to see you participating in the challenge at Sketches4all!!

Eureka Stamps Challenge #111

Happy Monday!!

It's time for a new challenge at the Eureka Stamps Challenge blog.

This week's challenge, #111, is "Use Orange and Purple".  Here's the card that I created for this week's reveal.

This little "ghost" is one of my favorite Halloween digi stamps and is from the QKR Stampede store.  You can find this cute little guy right here.  I used the purple for the background of my card, then added the orange pumpkins and the journaling strips.

Here's a close-up of this adorable image.

Isn't he cute?  I just love his eyes.

Here's a close-up view of my card.

If you'd like to play along with our orange and purple theme, you can link up right on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!!

Eureka Challenge #110

It's time for a new weekly challenge at Eureka Stamps.

This week's challenge, #110, is "Shaped Cards".  Here's the card I created for this week.

I decided to make a card that was shaped like a tombstone.

I used this cute spiderweb patterned paper on the bottom, then added the "Happy Halloween" digital stamp.  It's from QKR and you can find it right here.  I also added the cute pumpkin sticker and set it off to the left.  I didn't want to cover up the spiderweb.

Here's a close-up photograph of the web.

Here's a close-up of the digi stamp.  I fussy cut it out and tried to make it look "spooky".  I used black distress ink around the edges and attached it with pop dots.

If you'd like to play along and make a shaped card, you can link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Save The Dates!

We have some fun events coming up at Sketches4All.

That's right ~ from October 27th ~ October 29th, we'll be having a blog hop.

From October 27th ~ October 31st, we'll be holding a Halloween challenge at the forum.

For all of these events, we'll be using some of the super fun Halloween images from The Cutting Cafe!!

In the meantime, we're having a DT Fall/Halloween Challenge right now.  Here's the link to the thread.

The winner of this challenge will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to A Cherry On Top.

Here's the card that I created for this challenge.

I used a combination of October Afternoon and Pink Paislee for this card.  I fussy cut the skeleton image out of a piece of PP paper and popped him up.

Here's a close-up photograph.  I also added some bling to each side.

So, be sure to save the dates of October 27th ~ October 31st!!

We'd love for you to join us at the Sketches4All forum!!

Eureka Stamps Challenge #109

Welcome to a brand new week at the Eureka Stamps blog.

Our challenge this week (#109) is "Delightfully Frightful".   Here's the "frightful" card I created for this week's reveal.

I'm not sure that this old witch is very "delightful" but she's certainly "frightful".  I used a QKR image again this week and you can find it right here.  To make it extra frightful, I added some black distress ink to the image to look like fog.

Here's a close-up photograph of the scary skull.

I dug into my Halloween stash and found this cute chipboard banner.

If you'd like to make a "delightfully frightful" Halloween card, you can link up over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful week.
